The Strom Short is a midi-length short with a relaxed silhouette, crafted from 100% French linen. Considered features such as a flat front, hidden elasticated waist and internal drawstring offer styling versatility, and all-day comfort. Suited to beach days and city adventures alike, pair the Strom Short with a simple white tee or the coordinating Honnor Top.

The Strom Short is offered in the seasonal Artichoke colourway.

Material

100% French Linen

This garment has been crafted from 100% French Linen, a natural fibre from flax grown in the northern regions of France. Linen is a light, breathable fabric that is durable and strong. It wrinkles easily which is part of its appeal, it is easy to care for and becomes softer with age and wear.

Flax is a highly productive crop requiring minimal water, herbicides or pesticides to grow, making it a better environmental choice than many other natural fibres, such as conventionally grown cotton.

Maker

This garment was designed in Melbourne by the ELK team and made by Tongxiang Jimmy Fashions in China. Jimmy has worked with us since 2010 making both woven and knitted apparel. Jimmy is actively working with us to make workplace improvements to ensure the factory is safe and compliant.

The factory is signed up to Sedex, and undertakes regular SMETA social compliance audits.

Size and Fit

The Strom Short is a regular fit garment. The elasticated back and internal drawstring offer movement and adjustability to the short. This short has generous leg openings.

Key fit points for the garment are the waist and hip.
